JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a creative Graphic designer with up-to-date knowledge to bring great ideas to even greater heights. You will work on a variety of clients and products, including: websites, banner ads, magazines, newspaper ads, product packaging, billboards, exhibitions, corporate identity etc. You will work closely with art directors and copywriters to make things happen!
JOB SPECIFICATION
- Illustrates concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
- Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software
- Think creatively and develop new design concepts, graphics and layouts
- Prepare rough drafts and present your ideas
- Prepares final layout by marking and pasting up finished copy and art.
- Work as part of a team with copywriters, designers, stylists, executives etc.
- Take the design “brief” to record requirements and clients needs
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; participating in professional societies.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop etc)
- Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
